Upcoming Worship Services

Join us to revisit the timeless wisdom of Mr. Rogers, as we ponder our relationship with ourselves and our community.  How does the divine spark within each of us provide light for the world?  How do we demonstrate our love for others in ways both big and small?  Join guest minister Rev. Rina Shere for a morning of exploration and reflection.

Do you want to change the world?  The old adage is that you should start with yourself.  Make one big change, with the intention of making yourself a gift to the world, and you just might be able to.  If you set the intention.

The first Sunday of each month is Food Sunday, when we collect non perishable food, toiletries and cash for our neighbors struggling with hunger.  This month’s collection goes to the pantry at Old South church in Kirtland.

There are 13 things mentally strong people don’t do.  They are the folks who are described by their friends and family as being resilient, the kind of people who can make it through anything.  Not that it’s always easy to make it through.  They just focus.

Please join us for dinner at 6:00 pm, an hour before the service begins.  Menus are chosen to be suitable for a variety of diets and preferences.  Suggested donation is $5 per person or $12 for a family of 3 or more.  Nobody is turned away for lack of funds.

Admitting that you have little control in the world can be the first step in building resilience and strengthening your relationships to yourself and other people.  For some, that means giving over control to a higher power.  Does a higher power have to be called God?  How do Humanists engage in that process?
